Adam Ribakoff at Black Atlantic Surfboards has been shaping out of North Florida for over 20+ years. He started making boards when he was 12 years old and has been honing his craft ever since. He worked besides Erie Peeples who helped teach and mentor his shaping skills and was influenced by a lot of the shapers to come out of Florida. Those shapers include Ricky Carrol and Ian Wright at Aftermath Surfboards, Doug Wright at Rainbow Surfboards, Greg Orion and Matt Kechele. Adam is always keeping an open mind, listening and learning from other shapers and peers in the industry. He is also making some of the raddest hand-made boards in North Florida.
